News for DC fans--and Rob Liefeld fans
Rob Liefeld (he of the badly drawn anatomy fame) has just announced that he'll be working on a 2 issue Teen Titans storyline-- here's a quote from newsarama:

Ok. Youngblood was a ripoff of the Titans, why am I not surprised.

It's full steam ahead for the wedding!
Invitations are currently in production, it was really lovely to see our names on the design--you get this sense of finality--like everything is clicking into place.
We even got an interior designer for our place na! (Turns out to be a fellow Quill member hehe) She's really professional --we were impressed with her portfolio, Grupo Santamaria was even featured in some issues of Real Living ^_^

Some StarWars news:
Apparently there's gonna be a live action StarWars TV series pretty soon-- and fan favorite Kevin Smith is slated to write and direct a 3 episode storyline. This is great since he's also a StarWars fanatic--just check out Clerks, Chasing Amy etc for his StarWars discussions.
Not that I'm a StarWars fan but this will be interesting to see after all the Star Trek shows ^_^

Breaking News! (of the non-pope variety and no it ain't about the royal wedding either)
OMG! OMG! OMG! Goodwill bookstore has a sale on all pocketbooks! It ain't just your regular sale either...non of that 10-30% off crap, it's a whopping 80% off!!!!!!
Just pause a bit and think about that. 80 FRIGGIN PERCENT.
I actually bought around 8 books (total cost over a thousand) and was only charged like 300 pesos!
Tin got a book priced at around 300 something and was charged 45 bucks! That's insane! (also actually a bit scary since I think this means Goodwill won't be selling pocketbooks anymore--just school supplies and textbooks)
Must check out the SM North branch and the Makati one... (i got my stash from the MegaMall branch--)
I'm raiding all the fantasy/sci-fi novels...(and some of the crime stuff)
